The Capital Choir’s website boasts:

The world-renowned Capital Children’s Choir can frequently be seen performing alongside pop and classical superstars and is in constant demand for charity galas and other important events.

Here’s a video of the Choir performing the song “Chinese” by Lily Allen, which might be the cutest four minutes and forty-eight seconds on the internet right now.

That didn't take long...

Yesterday I write about how gorgeous Lily Allen looks in pink hair and she goes back to being a brunette. Thanks Jezebel.

I don’t really want to write about hair on this blog, just thought it was funny that I have to retract two things I wrote yesterday. I still stand by everything I wrote about the Vampire Weekend video, though.

Lily Allen told Rolling Stone that if her record bombs she’ll quit and work in A&R instead.

I hope this doesn’t turn out to be true because Allen’s first album Alright, Still, is in very high rotation on my iPod and one of my very favorite records of the past few years.

The new record has a working title of Stuck on the Naughty Step and P4k is continuing the rumor that Lindsay Lohan will appear on the album. I hope that rumor doesn’t turn out to be true - even if it could not be any worse than artists I really respect having Leslie and the Lys appear on their record.

It is also reported that she recorded a cover of Joe Jackson’s “Steppin’ Out” with Jamie Reynolds from The Klaxons.

The photo comes from a post on E!’s blog and they spend considerable column inches talking about how terrible Allen looks. Really? I’m not a fashion expert but I’m not sure if she has ever looked better. Ultragrrrl wrote (correctly, I think) “There is so much amazingly perfect and wonderful things about this dress/hair combo of Lily Allen’s, it’s not even funny. I really hope she keeps her hair pink.”
